There's a lot going on right now in the EU with regards to a new privacy law, which abbreviation makes me think of a rap lyric (G to tha D to tha P to tha R, y'all!) every time I read or hear about it. In 2013 I worked as a trend research at Amsterdam based research agency MARE. At that time a counter-trend was already emerging against being online all the time an posting 24/7 about your very interesting life. Back then, I wrote a short article about this topic which still seems relevant today.
